Christine Seidl is a Senior Scientist at Adaptimmune, where since October 2018, the focus has been on generating knock-in alleles with CRISPR-Cas9 and recombinant Adeno-Associated Virus for T-cell receptor enhancements in iPSC lines, conducted under near cGMP conditions. Prior to this, Christine served as a Research Scientist at the University of Oxford from September 2011 to October 2018, working on projects that utilized CRISPR-Cas9 for creating cell populations with improved chondroprotective features and manipulating gene expression to reduce collagenase levels. Earlier experience as a Research Scientist at City College of New York from August 2006 to August 2011 involved developing stable single-stranded circular DNA for in vitro transcription of microRNAs. Christine holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Vienna and a Master's degree in Genetics from the University of Natural Sciences in Salzburg, Austria.
