Soroush Sobhkhiz

Soroush Sobhkhiz is a data scientist currently working at Adaptis since August 2023. Prior experience includes a position as a data scientist and NLP engineer at the University of Toronto from September 2019 to August 2023, where Soroush developed text mining software for KPI reporting and created a hierarchical text classification system. Additional roles at the University of Toronto involved research assistance on digital twins and teaching assistance in courses on virtualization, analytics in construction, and data science. Earlier experience includes a research assistant position at Tecnosa R&D Center focused on knowledge graphs and teaching assistance in engineering economics and computer programming at the University of Tehran. Soroush holds a PhD in AI in Construction from the University of Toronto and a master's in construction management and a bachelor's in civil engineering from the University of Tehran.
