Cara Wilcox has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and healthcare sectors. Cara started their career as an Airborne Cryptologic Linguist in the United States Air Force from 2002 to 2006. Following that, they completed an internship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where they gained experience in molecular biology techniques and various aspects of medical research. Cara then joined Bioanalytical Systems, Inc. as a Lab Technician, where they demonstrated proficiency in laboratory instruments and adhered to good laboratory practices. Since 2012, Cara has been working at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp., where they have held various roles of increasing responsibility, including Research Associate, Sr. Quality Systems Manager, Sr Manager of Regulatory Compliance, and Associate Director of Regulatory & Compliance. Cara'smost recent position is Director of Regulatory & Compliance. Throughout their career, Cara has developed expertise in regulatory and compliance matters in the biotechnology field.

Cara Wilcox has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry and Biotechnology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Cara also holds a degree in Aircrew (1A8X1) from the Community College of the Air Force, which they earned from 2002 to 2006.

In terms of additional certifications, Cara obtained a Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) in January 2023.
