Erik Yusko has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Erik began their career as a Lab Assistant at BP Amoco and later worked as a Lab Assistant at the Microtechnology, Medicine, and Biology Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2007, Erik joined the University of Michigan as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they developed technologies for detecting single proteins and invented a process for determining multiple properties of single proteins simultaneously. Erik also worked as a Fellow at the Office of Technology Transfer at the University of Michigan. Erik then joined Asbury's Biophysics and Physiology Lab at the University of Washington as a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow. In 2015, they joined Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. as a Scientist - Computational Biology and progressed to roles such as Senior Computational Biologist and Manager of Computational Biology. Erik eventually became the Sr. Manager of Computational Biology and later transitioned to the role of Director of Business Development, Drug Discovery.
Erik Yusko started their education by completing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2003 to 2007. Erik then pursued higher education at the University of Michigan, where they obtained both a Master of Science (M.S.) and a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering and Biophysics with a specialization in Single molecule technologies from 2007 to 2012. After completing their doctoral studies, Erik further enhanced their academic qualifications by enrolling in Cornell University. From 2018 to 2020, they successfully completed an Executive MBA program and was awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
