Eftim Pop-Lazarov

Eftim Pop-Lazarov has a significant amount of work experience in the technology and analytics industry. Eftim currently holds the position of Chief AI Product Officer (interim) at Adaptive Clinical Systems since May 2023. Prior to this, they were an Advisory Board Member at the same company from January 2021 to May 2023. Before joining Adaptive Clinical Systems, Pop-Lazarov worked at Clarivate Analytics as the Chief Architect from February 2019 to May 2023. Eftim also has an extensive tenure at Thomson Reuters, where they held various roles such as Sr Enterprise Architect and VP Technology Asset Owner from February 2013 to February 2019, Global Head of Technology, Academic and Government from February 2010 to February 2013, VP of Technology, Intellectual Property and Corporate Markets from February 2006 to January 2010, and Sr. Director Product Engineering for EndNote, Web of Science, WOK Internetworking from February 1994 to February 2006.

Eftim Pop-Lazarov obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ss Cyril and Methodius University from 1987 to 1992. Eftim then pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Delaware from 1993 to 1994. Currently, they are a PhD candidate at the University of Delaware in the field of Computer Science, specifically focusing on AI and Natural Language Processing. In addition to their formal education, Eftim has also obtained certifications in Pragmatic Product Launch and Pragmatic Marketing from Pragmatic Institute in the years 2011 and 2008, respectively.
