Matt Barrett has had a diverse range of work experiences since 2004. Matt worked as a Developer at Auckland UniServices Limited in 2004, and then as a Developer at Pelagon Ltd from 2005 to 2006. Matt joined the Royal College of Surgeons of England as a Developer in 2006. In 2007, they became a Senior Developer at Chellomedia IS, and in 2008, they worked as a Development Consultant at UPC Broadband until 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a .Net Consultant at Lab49, and then as an Exotics Interest Rates Developer at Barclays Capital from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they co-founded Adaptive and took on the role of CEO, focusing on accelerating technology delivery for capital markets participants such as banks, exchanges, brokers, and asset managers.
From 2000 to 2005, Matt Barrett pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at The University of Auckland.
