Pansy Awasthy is an experienced professional with a background in pharmaceuticals and academia. Pansy is currently a Senior Manager CMC at ADARx Pharmaceuticals Inc., a position they have held since 2022. Previously, they were a Scientist CMC at Biosplice Therapeutics from 2020 to 2022, where they were responsible for assisting drug product fill/finish of GMP aseptic contract manufacturing, process optimization, scale-up, technology transfer, use of risk management tools, following SOPs, and review/provide strategic input on qualification/validation protocols. Additionally, they reviewed drug product specifications, manufacturing batch records, stability protocols, stability data, and expiration dating documents to ensure collection of data needed for regulatory submissions. From 2015 to 2020, they held various roles at IRISYS, LLC, including Quality Control Assistant Manager, Scientist, and Research Associate. In these roles, they were responsible for clinical projects lead for in-process, release, stability studies for oral, ophthalmic, topical and injectable dosage forms, aligning and maintaining a cross dialogue within departments including quality assurance, manufacturing and R&D, and writing and submitting cost proposals for new clinical studies. Pansy also designed and conducted experiments for the formulation development of new drug products using novel drug delivery systems -nano suspensions, including but not limited to injectables- lyophilized formulations and oral liquids. Prior to this, they were a Student Research Assistant at Anti-infective Research Laboratory, Wayne State University in 2014 and held positions as a Member of the Management Board at The Gurukul International School, Awasthi Group of Institutions and a Lecturer at Awasthi Institute of Nursing, Awasthi Group of Institutions in 2012. In 2011, they were a Summer Intern at Alkem Laboratories Ltd., where they were trained in the field of production and packaging of products in Cephalosporin block, Quality control department and General block, and made a report on the production and packaging of products in cephalosporin block, quality control department and general block.
Pansy Awasthy has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Wayne State University, which they earned between 2013 and 2015. Pansy also holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kurukshetra university, which they earned between 2008 and 2012.
