Rafael Chargel

Rafael Chargel is a Senior Software Engineer at Addepar, specializing in designing and building microservices using AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Java, and Kotlin for complex financial asset management. With prior experience as a lead developer at Susquehanna International Group, LLP, Rafael contributed to a federally mandated auditing system, and at Comcast, Rafael managed a system operationalizing machine learning models for real-time customer issue diagnosis. Rafael also held principal engineering roles at ColdLight, focusing on analytics and machine learning for the Industrial IoT sector, and at Traffic.com, leading R&D for traffic services. Previous positions include software architect at Hx Technologies Inc. and consultant at Blackboard International, where Rafael worked on a range of technical projects across various industries. Rafael holds a BFA in Digital Art and Animation from George Mason University.
