Surbhi Arora

Surbhi Arora is currently the Director of Engineering at Addepar since July 2022 and has held the position of Director at BlackRock since February 2012, where responsibilities include serving as Product Owner for service engineering in Portfolio Management tools, overseeing APIs and Services delivery, and leading the API Council to promote ‘API as a Product’ within the Portfolio Management space. With over a decade of experience as a People Manager, Surbhi has successfully led teams in Atlanta and San Francisco. Previous roles include Vice President and Associate at BlackRock, Consultant at Dell Services, Senior Software Engineer at Golden Source, and Senior Software Developer at Tata Consultancy Services, among others. Surbhi holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Guru Nanak Dev University and completed a management program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
