Simon Brown

Simon Brown is an accomplished Senior FPGA Engineer with extensive experience in the field of video technology and engineering. Currently at Adder Technology since June 2023, Simon previously held the same title at CMR Surgical from December 2021 to June 2023. Prior to these roles, Simon served as Head of R&D at Microvideo Ltd from 2008 to 2021, focusing on developing advanced HD and 3G products for the Broadcast Video market. Earlier roles include consulting at Sagentia from 2001 to 2007 and R&D positions at Microvideo Ltd and AVS-Xray, where Simon contributed to the development of various broadcast video products and vision inspection systems. Simon holds a degree from the University of Cambridge, completed from 1988 to 1991, and attended Friends School Saffron Walden from 1981 to 1988.
