Jessica A. Burke

Jessica A. Burke has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Their most recent role was as the Chief Legal and Government Affairs Officer at Addiction Recovery Care, where they served as the chief legal counsel and compliance officer for the largest private behavioral healthcare provider in Kentucky and all affiliated companies. Jessica A. also served as the lead government affairs liaison for the organization at the state and federal level. Prior to that, they were a Board Member at the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance, ensuring the integrity of the Commonwealth's electoral process and monitoring compliance with campaign finance laws.

Jessica also had extensive experience working in various legal roles. Jessica A. served as the General Counsel/Executive Director of the Office of Legal Services at the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development. Before that, they were a Partner at Chalmers Burch & Adams LLC, a boutique litigation and political law practice. Jessica A. also had their own law firm, J. Burke Law Offices, PLLC.

Additionally, Jessica's work experience includes serving as the Commissioner/Vice-Chair of the Kentucky Claims Commission for the Commonwealth of Kentucky and as a Deputy General Counsel at the Office of the Kentucky State Senate President. Jessica A. also worked as a litigation attorney at Jenner & Block and as a research assistant at Notre Dame Law School.

Throughout their career, Jessica has gained expertise in areas such as healthcare law, political law, regulatory compliance, and campaign finance. Jessica A. has represented clients in state and federal courts, advised Senate Leadership on healthcare policies, and played a role in drafting legislation to combat drug abuse.

Jessica A. Burke obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Sociology from the University of Kentucky. Jessica A. pursued further education at Notre Dame Law School, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in the field of Law.
