Carmen Staicu

Carmen Staicu has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries and roles. Carmen began their career as an Office Manager at Netrom in Romania in 2005. Later, they transitioned into communications roles, working as an Institutional Communications Expert for the Government of Romania, National Agency for Governmental Strategies in 2006. Carmen then moved on to Grayling, a global PR consultancy, where they served as a Senior Account Manager from 2006 to 2011. Carmen then joined Erste Group, where they held several positions such as Group Press Officer, Spokesperson, and Lead of the ERSTE 2030 initiative. Currently, Carmen holds the position of Managing Director of Group Marketing & Corporate Communications at Addiko Bank AG.

Carmen Staicu completed their education with a Master's degree in Geopolitics from Academia de Studii Economice din Bucuresti in 2008. Carmen also obtained a Certificate in IR Communication Tools and Techniques from The Investors Relations Society in 2010, and a Certificate in Issues and Crisis Management from Chartered Institute of Public Relations in 2011. Additionally, Carmen completed a Global Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from IESE Business School in 2020, as well as a Certificate in Leading Digital Marketing Strategy Programme from INSEAD in 2023. Currently, they are pursuing a DBA in Banking Strategy from SDA Bocconi starting in 2023.
