Michael Shaffer

Michael Shaffer has extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, starting as a Mechanical Engineer at GE Healthcare in 2013. Michael then transitioned to GE Additive in 2015 as an Additive Manufacturing Engineer, focusing on the industrialization of additive technology. In 2018, Michael joined TRUMPF North America as a Technical Sales - Additive Manufacturing before moving on to ADDMAN in 2021, where they held the positions of Manager and Director of Business Development, leading the company's efforts in providing full-service manufacturing solutions.

Michael Shaffer obtained a B.S. in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering (Dual Major) from Robert Morris University in 2009-2013. Michael then went on to earn an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014-2016. In 2013, they also obtained the Engineering In Training (EIT) certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
