Italo Armenti has worked in the software development field since 2006. In 2006, they were an intern at Kasko Networks. From 2007 to 2011, they were a software designer at Kasko Networks, where they gained experience with software design and implementation. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Virginia, where they focused on research to determine Quality of Information metrics for Body Sensor Networks (BSN). At Fiksu, from 2013 to 2015, they developed new features, optimized the current codebase of the company, and deployed to production. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Scrum Master and Software Developer at Accountor Finago Oy, where they contributed to the development of the API for 3rd party users, and localization of the software to Sweden. Since 2019, they have been a Senior Software Developer and Scrum Master at AddSearch, where they work on the search and analytics services, handling millions of queries per month. Italo has also worked on the company's scraper, integrating PhantomJsCloud to fetch dynamic pages, and refactored one of the codebases and its database to use partitioned tables, improving query time.

Italo Armenti completed postgraduate studies in Computer Engineering at the University of Virginia from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer and Automation Engineering from Università degli Studi dell'Aquila in 2010, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same university in 2007. In addition, they have obtained various certifications from Coursera, Udemy, Howspace, and Scrum.org since 2017.
