Peter Dowdy

Peter Dowdy is a seasoned data engineer with extensive experience in developing data platforms and infrastructures for various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Adela, Inc., Peter has created a data platform that facilitates data access for data scientists and established data governance systems for compliance and integrity. Previously at Invitae, Peter developed ELT infrastructure for bioinformatics data using AWS and Snowflake and enabled researchers to access a substantial data corpus. With a robust background at iQmetrix, Peter contributed to modernizing reporting through end-to-end streaming data architecture and also held various development and technical leadership roles. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Regina and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Pomona College.
