Jonae Harrison

Jonae Harrison, JD, CHC has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2002, they worked as an Attorney in the Office of Chief Counsel, Department of Treasury until 2008. Following that, they served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Maricopa County Attorney's Office in 2008 and as an Attorney in Alcock & Associates from 2009 to 2011. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Contract Attorney at Counsel On Call. In 2015, they transitioned to the role of Student Ministry Coordinator at Valley Creek Church until 2016. From 2016 to 2019, Jonae worked at Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC), starting as a Policy Analyst and later becoming the Director of Equity & Special Finance Services. In 2019, they joined the City of Tempe as an Equity and Inclusion Manager until 2022. Currently, they hold dual roles at Adelante Healthcare, serving as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer from 2022 to 2023, and as the Chief Operations Officer from 2023 to present.

Jonae Harrison, JD, CHC has a diverse education history. In 1995, they attended Georgetown University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Spanish and English, which they completed in 1999. Following this, they pursued further education at Tulane University Law School from 1999 to 2002, earning a Doctor of Law (JD) degree. To enhance their expertise in healthcare compliance, Jonae enrolled in the Health Care Compliance Association in 2022 and anticipates completing their certification in Healthcare Compliance in 2023.
