Zach Brock

Zach Brock has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Zach is currently serving as the Head of Product Engineering at Adept since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Meta as a Senior Engineering Manager from December 2020 to June 2023.

Zach also had a significant role at Common Networks, where they served as the Co-Founder & VP of Engineering from November 2019 to December 2020. Zach later became the Co-founder & CEO, leading the development of new wireless and software-defined networking technology. During their tenure, Common Networks raised over $35 million in funding.

Before their time at Common Networks, Zach worked at Square as an Engineering Manager/Staff Engineer. Zach joined the company when it was small and played a crucial role in its growth, including software development, building the engineering culture, and leading engineering teams. Zach'sresponsibilities at Square encompassed a wide range of areas, including product development, executive hiring, hardware development, international expansion, and engineering recruitment.

Prior to Square, Zach gained experience as a Software Engineer at Pivotal Labs and Zvents. Zach also undertook a summer research role at NASA in 2006.

Zach Brock obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
