Winton Davies

Winton Davies is an experienced R&D Engineer and Data Scientist currently at Alpha Studio since May 2023. With a strong background in data science, Winton served in various roles at Google from February 2010 to May 2023, including Data Scientist, Software Engineer, and Research Scientist, following the acquisition of Aardvark where Winton was a founding research scientist. Prior to these positions, Winton founded Contextics, an independent consultancy focused on text and data mining solutions, and conducted research at Yahoo! and Stanford University. Winton earned a PhD in Computer Science and an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Aberdeen, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Control Engineering from the University of Reading.
