Mrinal Singh Balaji is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in radar signal processing and systems engineering. Currently serving as Chief Radar Scientist at Baron Weather since November 2007, Mrinal Singh Balaji is responsible for the specification, design, development, modeling, simulation, integration, and testing of S, C, and X Band weather radar systems. Prior to this role, Mrinal Singh Balaji worked as a Radar Systems Engineer, leading polarimetric signal processing implementations for the WSR-88D network and conducting in-depth engineering analyses for multiple U.S. governmental agencies. Mrinal Singh Balaji began a career in academia as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, designing optimized transmission sequences for advanced radar systems, and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Mrinal Singh Balaji holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
