Ance Thomas

Ance Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. They began their career as an Automation System Trainee at Technocrat Automation Solutions in Chennai, India in 2006. They then worked as an Elect. & Instrumentation Engineer at Aarkay Instruments in Mumbai, India from 2006 to 2008.

In 2008, Ance Thomas joined Maritime Industrial Services (MIS) as an Elect. & Instrumentation Engineer, where they worked until 2010. They then joined KS Drilling as a Chief Electrician / Chief ET / PMS from 2010 to 2013.

From 2013 to 2019, Ance Thomas worked at STRATADRILL OILFIELD SERVICES, DUBAI / 3-CORE OS as a Chief ET / RMS. They then moved on to Selective Marine Services, where they held the position of Chief Electrician from 2019 to 2021.

In 2021, Ance Thomas worked as a Chief Electrician at Northern Offshore Ltd from February to November. Following this, they joined Borr Drilling as a Chief Electrician in November 2021 and held the position until October 2023.

Currently, Ance Thomas is working at ADES - Advanced Energy Systems as Chief ET, starting in May 2023.

Ance Thomas completed a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from BMC College of Engineering in Kerala, India from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, Ance also obtained a Diploma of Education in Industrial Automation (PLC, DCS, SCADA) from Technocrat Automation Solutions.
