Gonzalo Iglesias

Gonzalo Iglesias has over 25 years of experience in the aviation industry. Gonzalo started their career in 1996 as an Assistant Planning Manager at Fast Air SA / Ladeco SA, where they worked until 1999.

In 1999, Gonzalo joined LATAM Cargo as a Ground Operations Senior Manager. Gonzalo was responsible for overseeing ramp safety and controlled cost analysis for the company's stations in the Americas and Europe. Gonzalo also played a crucial role in the introduction of the B777 fleet, working directly with Boeing to make necessary changes. During their time at LATAM Cargo, Gonzalo reduced controllable delays by 50% through the implementation of permanent KPIs.

In 2012, Gonzalo was promoted to the role of Global Ground Operations Director at LATAM Cargo, overseeing ground operations for the entire Lan Cargo Network. Gonzalo successfully implemented a culture of continuous improvement and managed a team of 8 direct reports and more than 90 employees. Gonzalo also oversaw a budget of $35M.

In 2017, Gonzalo joined ADF Airways as the Director of Operations. In this role, they worked closely with the CEO on efficiency projects, maintenance areas, and safety and satisfaction initiatives. Gonzalo motivated and guided the team to achieve high levels of performance and led continuous improvement projects.

Most recently, Gonzalo joined FedEx Express in 2018 as a Senior Sales Executive in the Charter Department.

Gonzalo Iglesias began their education in 2000 at the Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria, where they pursued a Diplomate in Aeronautical Administration with a focus on Airline Administration. Gonzalo completed this program in 2002. In 2005, Gonzalo attended the ADF Flight School to obtain their Private & Instrument Pilot License.
