Huw J Harries

Huw J Harries is an experienced professional with a strong background in recovery and support services. Currently serving as a Pensioner and Recovery Practitioner at Adferiad since April 2021, Huw has also contributed to the Jubilee Gardens Project and continues to support individuals as a Volunteer Adult Workforce Mentor and Case Worker at Tir Dewi. Huw founded multiple initiatives, including Adferiad Trwy Ffydd, Udevelopit Healthy Living Project, and Anglesey & Gwynedd Recovery Organisation, focused on addiction recovery, healthy living, and community support. Previous roles include Support Worker at MHC UK Ltd and Healthcare Support Worker at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. Huw’s educational background includes a Certificate in Mental Health First Aid from Bangor University and a Diploma in Social Care Training from Havering Technical College.
