Renate Thijert

Renate Thijert is an experienced professional in finance and taxation, currently serving as Manager Finance & Tax at ADG since June 2012 and holding roles as Tax Director and Bedrijfsfiscalist. Additionally, Renate serves on the Raad van Commissarissen and Auditcommissie for WBO Wonen since January 2022 and is a board member of Bedrijvenpark Twentekanaal Hengelo from March 2022. From February 2014 to 2021, Renate was the vice-chairperson and chaired the audit committee at Baston Wonen and was a board member and treasurer for the Belangenver. Bedrijvenpark Twentekanaal from 2010 to 2021. Renate's academic contributions include guest lecturing in Tax Assurance at Nyenrode Business University between 2016 and 2019 and teaching fiscal economics at Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 2005 to 2008. Previous experience includes a senior tax manager role at PwC and involvement in the financial resolution committee for the Vuurwerkramp in Enschede. Renate holds a Master's degree in Tax Law from the University of Groningen and has completed various professional development courses.
