Fana Mehari

Fana Mehari is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in community management and software development. Currently serving as a Community Manager at Software Garden since September 2021 and as a Software Developer at adgoji, specializing in Clojure/ClojureScript since March 2020. Fana co-founded Hornbook and previously held internships focused on GIS and data management at HELCOM. An educator at King's MINI International English School, Fana taught English to non-native speakers from 2012 to 2015 and also served as a Graduate Assistant at the College of Marine Science and Technology Massawa. As a Human Resources Specialist at the Ministry of Marine Resources Massawa, responsibilities included promoting sustainability in marine environments. Fana's academic background features multiple Master's degrees in Marine Spatial Planning and Marine Affairs, complemented by a MicroMasters in Python for Data Science.
