Phillip Rotman

Phillip Rotman is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and commercial transactions. Currently serving as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and M&A Counsel at Adient, Phillip leads a global team providing legal services across various facets of business operations. Prior to this role, Phillip held several key positions at Dana Incorporated, including Chief Technology Counsel and Chief Intellectual Property Counsel, contributing significantly to the company’s strategic legal initiatives, such as leading a $1 billion joint venture in China and managing large-scale bankruptcy claims during reorganization proceedings. Phillip began their legal career as an associate at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, focusing on patent law after earning a JD from the University of Dayton School of Law and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
