Laura Trouille

Laura Trouille has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of astrophysics and science education. Laura started their career as a PhD student at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where they conducted research on galaxies with actively accreting supermassive black holes. Laura obtained and analyzed data from various sources for their research. After completing their PhD, Laura worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern University, where they held a dual position as an observational astronomer and a science education researcher. In their astronomy research, they studied the impact of supermassive black holes on galaxy evolution, while in their science education research, they focused on incorporating computational thinking into K-12 STEM education.
