Derek Phipps

Derek Phipps is an experienced audio engineer and company owner with a diverse background in the audio production industry. Since January 2014, Phipps has led DRK Productions Inc. and has worked as a freelance audio engineer for various companies, including AVmedia, Inc., BAV, GES - Global Experience Specialists, Freeman Company, LMG, LLC, and ADM Productions, Inc. Notable skills include system design and frequency coordination, as well as audio production for corporate events and general sessions. Previously, Phipps served as a technical assistant and consultant at Event Show Productions and a freelance sound engineer at J. Thor Productions, Inc., where contributions included audio, lighting, and unique technology projects. Phipps holds an Associate’s Degree in Audio Engineering from Full Sail University.
