Lisa M. DiPilato, Ph.D.

Lisa M. DiPilato, Ph.D. has held a number of roles in the medical field since 2001. Lisa M. began their career as a Lab Technician I,II for Bayer Diagnostics in 2001, where they synthesized and purified oligonucleotides for use in diagnostic kits for HIV, HBV and HCV, trained new employees, and wrote internal documents for new protocols. In 2003, they moved to Johns Hopkins Medicine as a Predoctoral Research Fellow- Zhang Lab. In 2009, they became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow/Senior Research Investigator- Birnbaum Lab at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2015, they joined AdMed, Inc. as Vice President, Senior Medical Director, and held the roles of Senior Medical Director and Medical Director before becoming a Medical Writer.

Lisa M. DiPilato, Ph.D. has a long history of education. Lisa M. obtained their A.B. in Biochemistry from Bowdoin College between 1997 and 2001. Lisa M. then went on to earn their Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Molecular Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine between 2003 and 2009.
