Janelle Robinson, PhD, is a scientist with extensive experience in project management, genomics, research, and education. Janelle currently works as a Scientist I Project Management at Admera Health, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at BioSkryb Genomics from June 2021 to December 2022, first as an Associate Production Scientist and then as a Scientist. From August 2014 to December 2021, Janelle served as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where they conducted research. In addition, they worked as a Lab Instructor at the Department of Natural Resources & Environmental Design at NC A&T State University from January 2016 to May 2016. Janelle also gained teaching experience as a Teacher Assistant at the Department of Biology at NC A&T State University from August 2014 to December 2014. Earlier in their career, they completed biology internships at Claflin University, South Carolina Center for Biotechnology from May 2012 to May 2014, and at Claflin University Genomics and Sequencing Laboratory from May 2011 to August 2011.

This advanced degree allowed their to delve deeper into their chosen field of study and develop expertise in various aspects of biology.

In 2018, Janelle further expanded their knowledge by attending a Short Course on Yeast Genetics and Genomics at the renowned Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. This focused program allowed their to acquire specialized knowledge and skills in a specific area of their field.
