Rita Kavelashvili

Rita Kavelashvili is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in communications and public relations. Currently serving as a Media Coordinator for the Administration of the Government of Georgia since August 2018, Rita also holds dual roles as a PR consultant and Press Officer at Tbilisi City Hall since December 2014. Prior to these positions, Rita worked as a journalist at TELEIMEDI (IMEDI TV) from September 2012 to September 2014 and at Interpressnews from December 2009 to October 2012, along with a tenure at GHN from May 2006 to December 2009. Rita Kavelashvili holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Pennsylvania and has pursued additional education at Harvard University and the University of Grigol Robakidze.
