Wolfgang Baumgartner

Wolfgang Baumgartner has extensive experience in systems management and IT leadership, currently serving as Head of Systems Management and Teamlead Systems Engineering at Admiral Sportwetten GmbH since April 2008. Responsible for operating the central sports betting application and overseeing test and development environments, Baumgartner has also led the Service Design and Infrastructure teams. Prior to Admiral Sportwetten, Baumgartner held the position of IT Leader at UC4 GmbH, managing international infrastructure, and at GE Capital IT Solutions, where oversight was given to IT operations before the company's acquisitions. Early in the career, Baumgartner worked at Siemens AG Österreich as a System Administrator and developer, specializing in firmware development for telecommunications systems. Educationally, Baumgartner graduated with a Matura in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from HTL u. VA Mödling in 1990.
