Victoria Raymer brings over twenty years of experience in strategic marketing, communications, and community relations to the Farragut Family. She started her career in Tallahassee working as an intern for the Governor’s Press Office which led to the position of Affiliate Marketing Coordinator for the Florida Association of Broadcasters, coordinating national media conferences, and working with various speakers such as Dan Rather to Eric Hilton with Hilton Resorts. Victoria moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1996 to manage and syndicate a lifestyle radio show centered on cigars and secured over 300 radio stations nationally in less than three years and forged many relationships in the cigar community. One of her fondest memories was being a guest at the Arturo Fuente cigar plantation in the Dominican Republic. Victoria then advanced her career into TV with HSN as a Senior Manager of Affiliate Marketing. She developed an award-winning retention campaign to engage and retain over 70,000 lapsed customers driving $13.4 million in revenue. The most fun was her roles in directing strategic partnerships with the NFL Monday Night Football broadcasts to creating on-air promotions with Hearst Magazines.
Prior to joining the Farragut Family, Victoria served as the Senior Brand and Communication Manager for Bisk Education, a technology provider of online degree programs for top universities such as the University of Notre Dame, Villanova, and Michigan State University. Some of her most proud accomplishments was a special project of co-producing a short film documentary with the University of Notre Dame and the Mandela Washington Fellowship program. She was also the first leader in the company to develop a corporate philanthropic program which engaged employees and community leaders to give back to local charities with goods, services, and in-kind donations.
Victoria is inspired to devote her expertise to engage their exceptional alumni to share their time and resources to continue the legacy of developing leaders who impact their local and global communities.
