Marcin Gierlak

Marcin Gierlak has a long and varied work history, starting in 2004 as a Back Office Manager for Telekomunikacja Polska, where they managed a group of specialists and built new tools and processes to increase productivity. In 2007, they moved to CI Games as a Software Developer, optimizing game engine core modules and scripts, creating a virtual world, and building tools for the game development team. In 2008, they joined TVN Grupa Discovery as a Software Developer, defining technology architecture and framework for BI delivery, including multi-platform systems integration, business-to-business integration, data modeling, and ETL design. In 2012, they joined IBM as a Staff Software Engineer, providing IT infrastructure and application management, as well as core software development. In 2014, they moved to HID Global as a Team Leader and Senior Software Engineer, developing a push notification solution for financial institutions and following OWASP guidelines, ISO/IEC 27001 and 27002. In 2018, they joined nTitle as Chief Technology Officer and Team Leader/Blockchain Solutions Architect, managing a €2M budget and performing architecture modeling and systems integration. In 2019, they joined Yggdrasil Gaming Ltd as a Software Development Manager, managing process and teams developing resilient, high-performance, regulatory-compliant products while identifying optimal technologies to support delivery. In the same year, they joined Grand Parade as an Engineering Manager, spearheading technology and product delivery initiatives and leading the development of high-quality software. Currently, they are VP of Engineering and Engineering Manager at LandVault, leading an organization comprised of technology leaders and engineers, defining and delivering the team’s technical roadmap, and helping to architect and design scalable solutions, systems, APIs, and business processes.

Marcin Gierlak obtained an M.Sc. in Computer Physics from the University of Rzeszów between 2002 and 2007. Marcin also holds two certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance and Scrum for teams from poddrzewem.pl.
