Robert van Roy

Robert Van Roy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in turnaround management and engineering within the refining industry. Currently serving as a Senior Turnaround Advisor at ADNOC Group since September 2023, Robert supports the Turnaround manager in the preparation and execution of a significant RFCC Turnaround at the Ruwais refinery. Prior to this, Robert dedicated nearly 15 years at TotalEnergies, where roles included Senior Turnaround Methods Engineer and Turnaround Manager, focusing on developing methods and managing turnarounds and associated projects. Robert also held various managerial positions at Total Raffinerie Mitteldeutschland and Total R&M, Normandy Refinery. Robert holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, earned between 1976 and 1981, and completed secondary education at Koninklijk Atheneum Hoboken from 1970 to 1976.
