Laura McCann

Laura McCann has worked in the apparel industry for over 30 years. Laura began their career in 1990 as a Knit Designer for Gitano. In 1992, they founded Fashion Express Worldwide, a buying agent to Specialty Retailers and Manufacturers, providing product development and sourcing of apparel. In 2000, they founded Zweave, Inc., a software and consulting firm specializing in PLM software for the Apparel Industry. From 2010 to 2013, they served as the S.V.P. Product Management, Acting General Manager AsiaPac, and V.P. Product Development for Stylesight, an online venture-backed information services and solution company. From 2013 to 2015, they were the PLM Practice Leader/Associate Partner for The Parker Avery Group, a boutique strategy and management consulting firm. In 2015, they founded Adoratherapy, an American manufacturer of aroma perfume.

Laura McCann received their Baccalaureat in Economics from Lycee Janson De Sailly between 1979 and 1981. Laura then attended Parsons School of Design - The New School from 1982 to 1987, where they earned their BFA in Fashion Design. In 1997 and 1999, they attended MIT Sloan School of Management and earned an Executive Masters Program in Birthing of Giants. Laura also attended JB Media for Digital Marketing, though no degree was earned.
