GABRIEL BALMUS

Gabriel Balmus has a diverse work experience in the field of research. Gabriel is currently working as a Group Leader at the UK Dementia Research Institute since July 2018. Prior to this, they co-founded Adrestia Therapeutics in January 2018.

From 2013 to 2018, Gabriel worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at both the University of Cambridge and the Wellcome Sanger Institute. During their time at the Wellcome Sanger Institute, they also had the role of a Postdoctoral Researcher.

Before that, Gabriel served as a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University from 2012 to 2013, and as a Postdoctoral fellow at Cornell University in 2006.

Gabriel Balmus received their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in Veterinary Medicine from Iasi University of Life Sciences (IULS) in the years 2000 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a PhD in Molecular and Integrative Physiology from Cornell University between 2007 and 2012.
