Research Scientist at Adrestia Therapeutics

Matthew Cook has a diverse work experience that spans various fields. Matthew recently joined Adrestia Therapeutics as a Research Scientist in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at Queen Mary University of London from February 2021 to February 2022.

From 2016 to 2021, Matthew attended The University of Sheffield, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological and Biomedical Sciences.

Prior to their PhD, from 2013 to 2016, Matthew also attended The University of Sheffield, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences.

Before attending university, Matthew completed their A-Levels at South Bromsgrove High School Sixth Form from 2011 to 2013. Matthew studied Chemistry (A), Biology (B), and Physics (B) during this time.

Matthew began their educational journey at South Bromsgrove High School from 2008 to 2011. Here, they received their 11 GCSEs, achieving grades A*-B, and earned one BTEC with a Dist* grade. Matthew'ssubjects included Mathematics (A*), Biology (A*), Chemistry (A*), Physics (A*), and English Language (A).
