Kimberly Pekar

Kimberly Pekar is an experienced professional in the field of financial aid and student finance, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid at The Johns Hopkins University since February 2023. Kimberly also holds the position of Manager of Student Finance Operations at Adtalem Global Education, starting in September 2022. Prior to these roles, Kimberly worked at Laureate Education, Inc. for over 14 years, holding positions as Manager of Financial Aid and Financial Aid Counselor. Kimberly began a career in financial services at Kennedy Krieger Institute, where a management role in Training & Data Services was held from January 2005 to June 2008. Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Frostburg State University in May 2003.
