William Barbosa

William Barbosa has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. William began their career as an Electronic Technician at Bahiasat Comunicacoes Ltda in 1993 and worked there until 2000. William then joined Cable Bahia Ltda (Net Salvador) as a System Analyst for a year. In 2001, they joined Edinfor as an IT Senior Analyst. From 2002 to 2008, they worked as an IT Manager at Adtalem Global Education. William was promoted to Senior Information Technology Manager in 2016 and later became the Director of Information Technology in 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Information Technology at Adtalem Global Education, where they are responsible for IT Operations and Services Delivery, as well as the global technology of End User Services.

William Barbosa completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in International Business from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, which they attended from 2014 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in IT Management from Faculdade Ruy Barbosa, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. William also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Universidade Federal da Bahia, which they completed from 1995 to 2000. William'searliest educational achievement is an Electronic Technician degree from IFBA - Instituto Federal da Bahia, which they obtained from 1989 to 1993. In addition to their formal education, William has earned several certifications throughout their career, including Six Sigma Yellow Belt, ITIL Foundation v2, and various management and problem-solving certifications from McKinsey & Company.
