Paula Miller has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Paula started their career as a Research Nurse Coordinator at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center from May 1992 to July 2001. Paula then worked as a Board of Directors and Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors at the Adult Congenital Heart Association from June 2001 to June 2007. Paula also had a role as a Consultant Legal Nurse Consultant for their own business from 1995 to 2005. From May 2005 to December 2010, they worked as a Research Nurse Coordinator at Allergy & Asthma Care. In November 2010, they joined the Adult Congenital Heart Association again, this time as the Member Services Manager/Membership Outreach Manager. Paula held this position till May 2017, when they transitioned into their current role as the Senior Education Manager at the same organization. Paula Miller obtained their High School Diploma from Bearden High in 1968. Paula then attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1968 to 1970, where their field of study was Pre-Nursing. Paula continued their education at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center from 1970 to 1973, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Lastly, they attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1976 to 1977, where they earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Nursing.
