Pete O'Connell

Pete O'Connell has over 40 years of work experience in various industries. Pete started their career in 1975 as a Production Manager at Nestlé Purina North America before moving on to roles such as Packaging Unit Manager and Packaging Manager at MillerCoors. In 1988, they joined Borden Dairy Company as a Production Manager, where they also served as an HR representative and Safety Coordinator. From 1993 to 2009, they worked as a Production Manager at Michigan Milk Producers Association, focusing on metrics-driven management, employee scheduling, safety program development, labor relations, and contract negotiations. In 2012, Pete founded O'Connell Consulting Service, offering career counseling and job search services. Pete then established O'Connell Recruiting in 2013, specializing in direct hire contingency recruiting for automotive suppliers. In 2020, Pete became a Licensed Realtor at Century 21 Looking Glass. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Advance Employment Staffing, where they have revamped the direct hire portfolio, brought on new clients, and mentored staff members.

Pete O'Connell pursued their education starting from 1968 to 1970 at Kellogg Community College, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management.
