Kate Brimacombe

Kate Brimacombe is an experienced educational leader currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at St Barnabas Multi Academy Trust and as the Director of Education at Learning Academy Partnership. With a commitment to governance, Kate holds the position of Local Leader of Governance for the Teaching School Council and is a Senior Fellow at the Higher Education Academy. Previous roles include Director of the Marjon Teacher Education Partnership and Associate Professor at Plymouth Marjon University, as well as a Senior Lecturer at the University of St Mark & St John. Kate began their career as an Advanced Skills Teacher at Ashburton Primary School. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education from the University of Exeter, a National Professional Qualification of Headship from the National College of School Leaders, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Middlesex University, among others.
