AJ Woodyard has been employed in the agricultural industry since 2008, beginning their career at BASF as a Technical Service Rep. In this role, they provided technical guidance to business reps and innovation specialists to assist in achievement of sales budget, developed technical information bulletins and presentations to support BASF products on a local and regional basis, and cooperated with Tech Service Regional Manager, District Sales Manager, Innovation Specialists, and Business Reps to develop and implement plans that ensure successful transfer of product information to the field sales team. In 2019, AJ Woodyard joined Advanced Agrilytics as a Lead Agronomist, where they lead the U.S. strategy on high yield corn and soybean production systems, including developing research protocols to support the strategy.
AJ Woodyard received a Master of Science (M.S.) in Agronomy and Crop Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Agronomy and Crop Science from the same university in 2006.
