Trish Demeter

Trish Demeter has extensive work experience in the energy and environmental sectors. Trish currently holds the position of Managing Director at Advanced Energy Economy, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they served as Chief of Staff and Managing Director of Energy Programs at Ohio Environmental Council, where they developed and implemented energy policy advocacy campaigns and built strategic partnerships with clean energy allies. Trish also worked as the Interim Executive Director at Ohio Environmental Council from March 2022 to October 2022. Trish has a background in policy and legislative liaison roles, having worked as VP of Policy - Energy at Ohio Environmental Council and as Legislative Liaison at Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Trish started their career as a Policy Aide at Ohio Senate Minority Caucus.

Trish Demeter obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature from Wittenberg University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001.
