Francesco Trotta

Francesco Trotta, PhD has a diverse range of work experience that spans over two decades. Francesco is currently the Head of Engineering and R&D in AI at AGS S.p.A - Advanced Global Solution. Prior to this role, they worked as an IT Consultant and was self-employed, providing strategic IT consulting for system integration, application development, and network management. Francesco also has experience in full stack web and desktop software development, network design and administration, and automated software testing.

Prior to their PhD, they earned a Master of Science (Laurea) in Electronic Engineering from the same university between 1997 and 2003. Additionally, Trotta has obtained various certifications in different areas of specialization. These include "AWS Fundamentals, 4-course specialization" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2021, "AI for Medicine, 3-course specialization" from deeplearning.ai on Coursera in November 2020, and "Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark" from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in March 2017.
