Otr/L Mikkaela Toenies

Mikkaela Toenies, OTR/L, is an experienced Occupational Therapist currently working at Encompass Health in a PRN capacity since February 2019 and at Advanced Healthcare in a full-time role since the same month. Mikkaela has previously completed Level II Fieldwork internships at EntireCare Rehab & Sports Medicine and Encompass Health, where expertise in administering assessments and developing evidence-based treatment interventions was gained. Mikkaela's diverse experience includes working with a wide variety of patient caseloads, including pediatrics and neuro rehabilitation. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree from Midwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from Concordia College.
