Dan Gibbons currently serves as Corporate Vice President of Software Programmability and Computational Acceleration Solutions at AMD since February 2022. With an extensive career at Xilinx that began in December 1998, Gibbons has held several key roles, including Vice President of FPGA Software Development, where oversight of a global team focused on advanced FPGA and Programmable SoC design tools was a primary responsibility. Gibbons also acted as Site Director for Xilinx's Longmont, Colorado campus, Senior Director of FPGA Software Development, and Director of Corporate Business Development, executing multiple corporate acquisitions. Prior to Xilinx, Gibbons held leadership positions at Minc, Inc., Data I/O, Saab Sensis Corporation, and IBM. Gibbons holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an Associate's Degree in Engineering Science from Ulster County Community College.
