Trefor Southwell

Trefor Southwell is a seasoned professional in silicon design and hardware engineering, currently serving as Director of Silicon Design Engineering at AMD. Previously held the position of Senior Director of Engineering at SiFive and has extensive experience at Imagination Technologies, where Trefor acted as Senior Director of Hardware Engineering and Director of Hardware Engineering for PowerVR. Trefor also contributed to the community as a co-opted governor and Chair of the Finance, Staffing & Premises Committee at Blackhorse Primary School, and served as a Member Nominated Trustee Director for the STMicroelectronics Bristol Retirement Scheme. Trefor holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Bristol and A Levels in Maths from North College Bolton.
