Yigal Shamaev

Yigal Shamaev is a seasoned professional in the data center sales and business development sector, currently serving as a Senior Data Center Sales & Business Development Manager at AMD since February 2022. With extensive experience at Xilinx since April 2005, Yigal has held various roles including EMEA Data Center Business Development and Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Communication & Audio Video and Broadcast Segment Manager, focusing on wired and wireless communications and the data center market. Prior to Xilinx, Yigal worked at XLight as a System Architect and Digital Group Manager, and at Applied Materials as an FPGA Team Leader. Yigal holds a B.Sc. in Computer and Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the same institution.
