Stephen Fujiwara began their career in 2002 as a Leading Petty Officer for SUBDEVRON 5 DET TRITON, where they developed and modified Intergraded Logistics Support products and supervised the operation and maintenance actions on side scan SONAR and UUV systems on board US Navy vessels. Stephen then served as the Recruiter in Charge of the NAVY RECRUITING STATION FAIRBANKS, AK, where they managed and directed a cumulative sales force of 5 Recruiting Specialists and created and monitored market penetration plans. In 2008, they were appointed as the Guard Force Commander for the Detention Facility in Afghanistan, where they directed a joint guard force of 120 sailors and Afghanistan National Army and co-authored the Standard Operating Procedure for all day to day operations. From 2011 to 2018, Stephen served as the Leading Petty Officer for USS CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI and USS MICHIGAN, where they supervised troubleshooting of component failures, system upgrades, and installation of approved system modifications to sonar, fathometer, and ships control systems. In 2018, Stephen joined Advanced Navigation as a Senior Sales Executive, and was later promoted to Senior Account Executive, where they managed sales team in developing long-term strategic business relationships with key customers throughout the North and South America, interpreted client business and technical requirements to translate product benefits across all types of applications, and applied strategic selling techniques to develop and track project opportunities from pre-sale to contract award to secure project business.
Stephen Fujiwara attended Coastline College from 2014 to 2016, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
